GENERAL POLICY

  • Guests with no bags and only items that fit in their pockets may use these entries.

  • Small bags must fall within the CSEC bag limit: 14″ / 14″ / 6″ or similar.

  • We have implemented a Green No Bag Express Entry to provide a better experience for guests coming bag free, along with cultivating a safe environment for all.

  • We allow diaper bags or medical necessary bags inside the venue. Fans will be required to use the Yellow Small Bag and Purses Entry; after scanning tickets, they will proceed to security for a physical bag search.

ENTRY EXPERIENCE

  • The Scotiabank Saddledome Main Concourse entrances located on the West and East Side.
  • The West Lobby South will have primarily Green No Bag Express Entry while West Lobby North will have primarily Yellow Small Bags and Purses Entry.
  • On the East Side, the Barrier Free Doors will have Yellow Small Bag and Purse Entry, the Middle Doors will be fully Green No Bag Express Entry, and the South East doors will have Yellow Small Bags and Purse Entry.
  • Note: Some doors may change event to event, please seek out a Fan Experience Crowd Manager when coming to the Scotiabank Saddledome.

  • If any fan comes to the Scotiabank Saddledome with a bag that is larger than 14″ / 14″ / 6″ we will ask that you return the bag to your vehicle.
  • If you do not have a vehicle on site and nowhere to store the bag off site, come November 5th, we will be implementing X-ray Screening for oversized bags that will then be stored at Guest Services for the duration of the event.

  • Any fans coming with a stroller will need to use the Yellow Small Bag and Purses Entry to ensure consistency upon arrival for all fans.

  • Green Express Entry! Thank you for coming bag free, we are excited to offer you Express Entry to our events!

ACCESSIBILITY & EXCEPTIONS

  • Any guests coming with medical equipment or supplies are encouraged to use the Barrier Free doors on the North East Side of the Scotiabank Saddledome. As you can use any of the Yellow Small Bags and Purses entries, our Accessibility Ambassadors will be ready and willing to help you upon your arrival to the Barrier Free doors.

  • Yes, anyone coming with a Service Animal with no bags are encouraged to use our Green Express Entry doors.

OPERATIONAL DETAILS

    • Oversized bags are larger than 14″ / 14″ / 6″ including backpacks and luggage.

  • Yes, all fans will go through ‘Walk Through’ metal detectors. Fans with medical exemptions will receive a physical pat down instead.

  • If you are coming to an event and have a bag, you will NOT be able to use the Green No Bag Express Entry. If you are coming bag free and are with other fans that have small bags or purses, you may go through the Yellow doors.

COMMUNICATIONS

  • For Flames and Roughnecks games, doors open 90 minutes before puck drop. We recommend that you arrive early to avoid delays.
  • For Hitmen, Wranglers games and Concerts, doors typically open 60 minutes before the event start time. Please check your event ticket for specific door opening times, as they may vary.

  • Green Express Entry, Yellow Small Bag and Purse Entry and Red X-Ray Screening will be implemented for all Calgary Flames games.
  • A modified Green and Yellow Door program will be implemented for all Hitmen, Roughnecks, Wranglers games and concerts.
