Ever wonder how long it takes to convert the arena floor from hockey to a concert? Interested in seeing the Club Level and our luxury suites? Want to go behind the scenes to see where international artists and entertainers prepare for their event? If so, come tour the historic Scotiabank Saddledome! This multi-use facility is one of the most innovative building designs in North America.

The Scotiabank Saddledome offer public tours free of charge during the summer months. Tours begin at the Main West Lobby entrance of the Saddledome and take approximately one hour, with walking, stair-climbing and heights involved. We will endeavour to accommodate mobility challenges, however, there will be areas that cannot be accessed.

Points of interest include:

• Main Concourse
• Event Level & Dressing Rooms (as available)
• Press Box
• TELUS Club Level
• Saddledome Grill
• Platinum Club
• Broadcast Booth
• Alumni Lounge and Super Suites

Time permitting, additional areas of the arena will be included. Due to ongoing events and maintenance in the arena, some areas may not be accessible to tours.

NOTE: The Calgary Flames locker room is not a part of the tour.

Free parking is available in the lots immediately north of the Saddledome off 14th Avenue and 5th Street S.E. Take the stairs with the red canopy to the outer concourse of the building, and continue around to your right until you enter the main West Lobby. See Getting Here for more information.

The CGY Team store is open at 12:00 noon Monday – Friday. Tour participants will receive a 15% discount on any regular price merchandise.

June 11^th and June 13^th tours will be offered on a walk-up basis, with start times at 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM.

PLEASE NOTE: The Saddledome will be closed from June 16 to June 27. We expect the online registration system to go live for tours starting June 30^th.

We’re excited to welcome guests for a behind-the-scenes look at the Scotiabank Saddledome this summer. Our online registration system will be launching soon, with spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours will run on select Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the summer. Space is limited, so we encourage early sign-up once registration opens.

Private tour arrangements can be made for groups of a minimum of 20 and maximum of 25 people on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from June through August on non-event days. Please email [email protected] to schedule a private tour. There is a nominal charge for private tours.
